Evans Machining Service is a general manufacturing machine shop that can machine general parts from a wide variety of metals used in the general industry. We do not machine parts in the nuclear or aerospace industry.
Testing Heat Treated and Carburized Materials
We also offer the testing of heat treated materials and in this case we offer Micro Vickers Hardness Testing for parts that have been carburized under a military or commercial grade standard. We can produce lab grade test results with our test equipment, validating the accuracy of the metal that has been heat treated or carburized.
General & CNC Machinery
We have a full line of General & CNC machinery that's used to manufacture all of the parts and assemblies that are contracted to us by customers. The General & CNC machinery that we own can produce any type of part or component to the drawings sent to us by our customer. We can also import various 3D models and drawings using CAM software that's used in the aid of the manufacturing process.
Quality Control Room and Inspection Equipment
We have inspection equipment from standard to a CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for the standard in contact general dimensional measuring, and also utilize a CNC Video CMM for non-contact measurement, which uses a video camera for measured results. We meet the ISO-9001 tailored inspection principles and have a rigid quality system with quality control manuals as our supporting documentation. We have an in-house, Level II Quality Engineer who has credentials for measuring and using the test equipment necessary to verify that all components that we manufacture meet the non-destructive testing requirements of parts. Some of these tests include: magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrate inspection, salt spray testing, coating weight measurement, metal hardness checking, and Micro Vickers hardness testing.

Evans Machining Service also offers the ability to print a plastic 3D model before your product even hits the market. Send us your 3D model and we'll quote a service price and have the model back to you within a few business days. We can print any model size up to: 8" x 6" x 6".
